• What brought you to SeePort, and what keeps you here on our Team? 

  • I am aspiring to become an optometrist. I initially shadowed Dr. Hicks to see if I wanted to join the ocular industry, and ultimately decided to stay and was given the opportunity to work here. Ultimately, the Team uplifts each other and cultivates an open learning environment for growth.

  • Prism has the potential to reduce headaches and double vision!

  • When a child can see clearly for the first time, it's an incredibly heartwarming and transformative moment. Especially when you visibly notice the sparkle in their eyes from their ability to see from across the room.

  • My favorite Frame Line is Silhouette!! I wear my favorite pair!! Black and Gold frame w/ a keyhole bridge!! I do have another frame on my wish list, which is the Custom Color Groove Frame by Silhouette!!!! Pink-Orange or Blue!!!

  • Patients who finally find relief from debilitating migraines, headaches, double vision and/or vertigo become truly radiant when they put their new glasses on for the first time.  Dr. Hicks’ prism evaluations have quite literally changed lives right here in the office.

  • I hope to create a warm and welcoming environment, it all starts with the receptionist.

  • My favorite glasses of all time are an Authentic Italian Frame Line called Sospiri!  A rhinestone/glitter lover's dream!

  • Being at the front desk, I get to see the initial discomfort when they walk in and the relief when checking out. It is usually accompanied by a sigh of relief, a smile, and a "tell everyone thank you so much!"

  • A patient tends to radiate happiness when they find a new pair of glasses they love. When they love how they look in them they want to tell people where they got their glasses from.

  • I have heard patients describe treatments for migraines that Dr Hicks has prescribed as LIFE CHANGING.

  • Kids are the best. The excitement and the astonishment on their face when they put on their first pair of glasses is priceless.

  • Because Seeport is an independent practice! The patients and the staff are what keep me here and makes enjoy what I do daily

  • It's a great feeling to see patients vision restored, whether that be with a new pair of glasses or cataract surgery. It is even more amazing to see a child's reaction to clear vision for the first time; it melts my heart!

  • It's awesome to see what a pair of glasses that a patient loves and how it changes their confidence! Accessories are a must, glasses included!
