Dr. Jesse Hicks

Dr. Hicks has acquired over 25 years of experience as an eye care professional, starting as an ophthalmic assistant while attending the University of South Florida for his undergraduate degree. He continued to add to his optical experience as a lab technician while expanding his knowledge as a student at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. His Floridian roots brought him back to the Tampa Bay Area after obtaining his Florida license to practice optometry.

Dr. Hicks has pursued his profession since he was fit with his first pair of eyeglasses at 8 years old. His world quite literally changed when he looked around through his -8.00 lenses for the first time. He saw leaves on trees for the first time that day and knew immediately he wanted to give that same life changing experience to others many times as he could thought his career. Thankfully, he was able to follow that dream and has become just that person. He practices comprehensive eye care by thoroughly examining his patients each and every time they are in his exam chair.
